Introduction
Welcome to Shri Dhan Kuber Movers and Packers. By engaging our packing and moving services, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms govern the relationship between you (the customer) and our company for all moving, packing, storage, and related services.
Service Terms
Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed in writing or through our official channels. Verbal agreements are subject to written confirmation.
Pre-Move Survey: A pre-move survey will be conducted to assess the volume and nature of goods to be moved. This helps in providing accurate quotations.
Prohibited Items: We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal items, perishable goods, plants, pets, or items of extraordinary value without prior arrangement.
Access Requirements: Customer must ensure proper access to both pickup and delivery locations, including parking arrangements and necessary permissions.
Liability and Insurance
Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to the declared value of goods or actual repair/replacement cost, whichever is lower. We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or traffic conditions.
Insurance Coverage: Basic transit insurance is included in our services. Additional comprehensive insurance can be purchased separately for high-value items.
Claims Process: All damage or loss claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and submitted in writing within 7 days. Claims will be processed as per our insurance policy terms.
Payment Terms
Payment Schedule: Advance payment of 25% is required at booking confirmation. Balance payment is due before or upon delivery of goods.
Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfers, UPI, and major credit/debit cards. All payments should be made to authorized personnel only.
Additional Charges: Extra charges may apply for services like packing materials, storage, multiple pickups/deliveries, or special handling requirements.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 48 hours before moving date: full refund of advance. Within 48 hours: 50% cancellation charges apply.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Weather Delays: In case of adverse weather conditions, moves may be postponed for safety reasons without penalty to either party.
Customer Responsibilities
Inventory Declaration: Customer must provide complete and accurate inventory of items to be moved, including any fragile or valuable items.
Personal Items: Customer should personally carry important documents, jewelry, cash, and other valuables.
Preparation: Customer should disconnect and prepare appliances, drain fluids from equipment, and secure loose parts before moving day.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka, as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015.
